Katie Elevitch (she/they) is a Rockland County, NY based artist, musician, educator, mentor & community arts leader whose multi-disciplinary projects & programs explore & center intergenerational collaboration, process-based oral storytelling, and place-based creative community building.

As a multi-arts creator, program director and producer (2001-present), and as founding director of StorySpace Arts (2017-present), Katie has helped exhibit, host, produce, nurture, amplify, document and celebrate the creative works, voices and process of well over 750 performing, visual, music, literary, healing and multi-media/new media artists from the lower Hudson Valley, Rockland, Orange, Bergen, Westchester Counties, NYC and beyond.

For over 10 years her interactive programs, projects and spaces - in partnership with businesses and nonprofits - have offered free or sliding scale access to the arts to hundreds of audience members and participants of all ages across Rockland County, NY, and the greater Hudson Valley.

StorySpace Arts (SSPA), a nonprofit artist collaborative & community founded by Director Katie Elevitch in 2017.
